أنا التي تنتظركِ في منتهى حقل الأقحوان
التي تعود إلى البيت كل يوم لتجد في تعابيركِ سلام بعد حرب طويلة
التي أتت بعد ظلام شديد لترى الشمس في شفتيكِ
فهنالك سكون لا يشعر به الا من يؤوي قلبه في قلب آخر
فما القلب إن لم يعرف الغزل والحب والسلام
وما الحب إن كان كسر الكاف للعالم جريمة
