Our submission deadline for Issue 4 is August 31st 2022. Any submissions after this date will be considered for the next issue.
Please send 3-5 poems or up to 5 pages of prose by email to bahrmag@gmail.com with ‘SUBMISSION’ in the subject.
Attach all work in one document, preferably a PDF.
You may include a short author bio (around 100 words in 3rd person POV) in the body of your email. If your piece is accepted, we will ask for an updated bio then.
We accept original, previously unpublished work and simultaneous submissions are totally encouraged. Just inform us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere and withdraw the piece by emailing us.
Please wait until you hear back from us regarding your submission status before submitting to us again.
We aim to get back to you as quickly as we can so if you do not hear from us within a month or two of the submission deadline, you can email us with ‘FOLLOW UP’ in the subject.
Currently, unfortunately, we are unable to pay contributors for their work. We hope to change this in the future.
Until then, we promise to continuously support our contributors and promote their work on our socials. If you have good news to share or have been published elsewhere, let us know so that we can hype you up!
